Offshore Spars worked with the Fontaine Design Group to design and build a new spar package for this custom designed yacht from the early 90’s. Her original rig was an aluminum stowaway mast, which we replaced with with a new, taller carbon fiber mast and carbon fiber electric drive furling boom. This change not only reduced weight aloft, but lowered the center of the gravity of the spar package. The new spar was completed with Nitronic 50 rod rigging from Global BSI and a running package utilizing New England Ropes Endura Braid.
