Our Process
Our process of hand layup allows for better ply orientation and greater control, producing tubes suitable for high tension, compression, and bending applications. The marine, automotive, robotic, and industrial worlds all benefit from light and stiff round sections.
Carbon Fiber Properties
Our tubes are manufactured to have compressive stiffness up to 50% higher than aluminum. Tensile strength is comparable to A36 steel. WARNING: Carbon fiber cannot be loaded in the same way as metal. Special care must be taken at edges, pin and fastener holes.
Custom Tubing Capabilities
We can vary laminate schedules, thicknesses, or fiber properties for many custom applications. We have fully tapered pole tooling that can be suitable for larger and double tapered poles.
We have many channel, plate, and box beam tools available as well.
