Offshore Spars teamed up with Pedrick Yacht Design and New England Boatworks on a refit project while adding another iconic race boat to its projects' repertoire. Running Tide was designed by Sparkman & Stephen and built as a collaboration between Wolter Huisman and Kretzer Boat Works in New York. Since her initial launch, she has gone on to win many of the world's premier ocean races.

Offshore supplied a new carbon fiber spar, rod rigging package and an electric drive furling boom since the boat was converted to a more cruising friendly setup. Along with the supply of the new rig package, Offshore Spars engineers worked closely with Pedrick design and NEB to make sure the boat is set up correctly for its new life.
