Beneteau First 40
After an unfortunate dismasting in the 2020 Hook Race, the Chicago-based Beneteau First 40 Badge will receive a new carbon spar. Offshore will work closely with Chicago Yacht Rigging to deliver a new spar that meets and exceeds the customer's expectations.
Kinetic 54#1 Boom
In collaboration with Kinetic Catamarans and Rigging Projects, the development and supply of a furling boom for the all new KC54 is now in progress. The project will have some unique challenges, but the team is eager to supply a seamless push-button system for this yacht.
Stephens Waring 68
Offshore Spars is excited to be working alongside Betts Boats and Stephens Waring Yacht Design on this Stephens Waring 68. This is the first time Offshore will be working on a spar package for this designer-builder combination. Details of the spar are still underway, but it will feature a carbon mast and furling boom.
RMD-Systems Drones
Looking for a lightweight and aerodynamic material to construct it’s custom drones, RMD-Systems turned to Offshore Spars for this critical component. The airfoil carbon tubes are the backbone of the vehicle and transfer the loads and high torque created by the motors back to the main body of the aircraft. Given the ability to provide custom molded tubes with a fast lead-time keeps this supplier consumer relationship strong.
Indian Village Street Light Refurbishment
Offshore Spars was presented the Michigan Governors Historic Preservation Award for our part in the refurbishment of fifty seven 1910 era wooden light poles in Detroit’s historic Indian Village neighborhood.The unique project showcases one of Offshore Spars many talents and was truly enjoyable to work on. As a collaboration of neighborhood, city and a handful of private companies, we achieved something great. Thank you to the Governor and the Michigan State Historic Preservation Office for recognizing us at the Capitol building.

We get plenty of orders for lengths of stock tubing, and it’s always interesting to see what our customers are using it for.
Austin Mys of Austin Mys Piano Tuning in Fennville, MI created this piano tuner from 1 ft. of our tubing to minimize deflection in the wrench due to its incredible stiffness. This ensures a more accurate tune due to less variation.
