Following an incident in the 2017 Chicago Mac race, this boat was in need of a new carbon spar. The owner contracted Offshore to build a new carbon fiber rotating airfoil mast with a carbon bolt rope tunnel up the back of the spar. The mast is supported with all Dynex Dux rope rigging, which was incorporated into the Offshore Spars design using lightweight lashing attachments.
