After damage to the stock aluminum rig, Offshore Spars was contracted to build a new carbon rig for a Hanse 430. The boat is raced inshore and used offshore as a cruiser. To improve the performance, 1m (3 ft.) was added to the P dimension, while keeping the other rig dimensions the same. The carbon spar is accompanied with Nitronic 50 rod rigging and a carbon boom.
